Porsche L2000 (Concept)
This is a redesign concept for Porsche electric vehicle charging equipment. In terms of industrial design, the core foundation module with the existing slot shape is retained. This will maintain the advantages of existing modular installation and use. Simultaneously, Porsche's automotive design elements are simplified and incorporated, utilizing the classic silver-gray and black CMF concepts that have been synonymous with the brand. The goal was to emphasise the Porsche brand's identity in the design of charging equipment product. The same design philosophy was also applied to the design of charging handle.
In terms of interface interaction, historical racing elements related to Porsche have been integrated into the UI design to enhance the user experience. For instance, after completing the charging process, the interface not only displays charging data but also converts the mileage respectively into laps on the legendary Nürburgring and Le Mans circuits in Germany and France. This detail in UI design will significantly strengthens the connection between users and the Porsche brand, aligning with the overall goal of this UI & UX design.
